First and foremost: My most favorite star, Britney Spears, has released her video for ‘Work B**ch! She looks as fabulous as ever and even dances a bit 🙂
Next, let’s talk about laziness. In terms of life, I am generally VERY lazy. A good example would be that I fold clothes once they are washed, but then I sleep under the pile of clean clothes on my bed until I wear all of them again. REPEAT.
In terms of working out, I am generally NOT lazy. I get my ass up and work out in the AM or I pull my shit together and go for a run or spin class after work. These days, not a chance those things are happening. I had PLANNED on being so awesome when I was pregnant and eating so healthy and working out and running 🙂 yay go me!
Here’s the reality: I don’t want to get up at 5AM to run or lift anything, so I don’t. When 6PM rolls around I dream about dinner and laying on the couch. Yes I want to work out. No I can barely get my body to do it.
I wanted to run 20 miles a week and go to Refine Method and spin. I am doing about 50% of those things, 50% of the time. Just an estimate.
Monday 9/23: OFF
Tuesday 9/24: OFF
Wednesday 9/25: 2.5 mi lunch run
Thursday 9/26: 45 min spin
Friday 9/27: OFF
Saturday 9/28: OFF
Sunday 9/29: Bronx 10 Miler, 1:41. Great course! There were different spots where a DJ was blasting techno music and there were yum smells of garlic knots from Miles 8-end!!! I felt pretty awesome during the entire run. I had fun. I ran with a great group and I was able to talk/laugh and finish strong. Fannnntastic!
I hope every run continues to feel great like that (for a few months at least). Only issue is actually getting on the road. Fingers crossed!
